***We will not be accepting National School Lunch Program applications for the 2021-2022 school as all students this year will be able to receive free meals. Please fill out the Alternate Income form in the Aeries Parent Portal instead. **

Cash is always accepted at the time of purchase.

Checks can be delivered to the cafeteria before school or after lunch.

Prepay online with credit, debit cards or eChecks.

Payments made on mySchoolBucks Heartland Payment System will show as “pending” until they post to the student’s cafeteria account.

*Please note there is a $2.75 fee for all credit/debit payments beginning 7/29/2021. The fee for e-checks will remain $2.49.

All students breakfasts are free for the 2021-2022 School Year, however, not all Elementary sites serve breakfast. Please contact your school office about breakfast times and availability.


All lunches are free to all students for the 2021-2022 School Year.

A La Carte

Variety of a-la-carte items offered daily at breakfast and lunch. These items are not included in the the free meals for 2021-2022. Any student who wishes to purchase a-la-carte items must either bring money to purchase the items or have money in their lunch account. No student will be charged into the negative for a-la-carte items.

We have three convenient ways to pay for meals. Cash, Checks (No checks for less than $25.00 will be accepted) and the Online payment system. Prepaid meals are always encouraged. Not only does this help speed up our service and ensure that your child always has money on account for a meal, parents can view their child’s lunch account activity and balance.

Insufficient Funds, Delinquent Accounts 

In accordance with the new laws SB250 and SB265, the Child Nutrition Department will no longer be providing students with alternate meals when they have a negative cafeteria balance. Students will be allowed to select the meal of their preference, regardless of their cafeteria account status. The meals will be charged to your child’s account at full price. No child will be denied a meal and balances will accumulate, so it is your responsibility to ensure these balances are paid. We will continue to notify you frequently regarding your child’s balance. To add funds to your child’s lunch account you can visit, or you can download the mySchoolBucks app from the GooglePlay Store or the Apple AppStore to view balances, check your child’s transaction history, or set up automatic payments to keep their accounts in good standing. If you would like to apply for the Free and Reduced lunch program, you can visit our website at where you can apply online, or you can pick up a paper application  at your child’s school, or at the District Office at 101 w Cochran Street in Simi Valley.
